I'm just going to come right out and say it... I cheated, again. I gave in and had a cranberry bran muffin (they use real cranberries, not dried ones!), I was out and about running errands today and I didn't plan ahead. I let myself get too hungry and I made a bad choice due to hunger. I cut out fruit sugars the rest of the day to make up for it, but it is what it is. I still can't believe I couldn't go 10 WHOLE days without cheating. But... I must say I didn't think I'd cheat with cereal and a bran muffin. I figured if I cheated it would be with diet coke or alcohol (honestly debated buying some Jim Beam Rye... yeah, I'm that bad).
Bad, bad, bad, bad...
Anyways, my weight has stabilized. Haven't lost anymore weight this week, which is probably good (6 lbs is a lot for 1 week!). I really think my body is adjusting and I'm already planning on how to make this a more long term lifestyle choice (with a few modifications). I've upped my water intake incredibly, about 90 oz total daily. I had the energy for a workout again, and went for a 4 mile run in the rain. It was ah-ma-zing! I absolutely love running in the rain, it could be one of my favorite things ever (after rock climbing of course!).
Sad, sad day...
And lastly... I finished my tub of peanut butter today. It was a sad moment! I <3 my peanut butter. Time to go the store and make some more I guess. This is one thing that I absolutely cannot live without!
Have you made big lifestyle changes (Vegan, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Etc)?
How was your transition?
What is one food item you cannot live without?

6 lbs in one week is incredible...maybe it was your body's way of saying it wanted a little celebration with the muffin. :) At least it wasn't a Snicker's bar!!
um I am SO with you on the PB thing!!! cant live without it :) Also... CONGRATS on losing 6 pounds!!!! where is it coming off of anyways?? lol you look awesome and rock on for doing the sugar free challenge, my body went into hibernation mode and gained 5 pounds last time I tried that!
I'm trying to eat less sugar. I am giving up Soda (hard one!), and not adding sugar to anything. Tried to pick items that had low sugar at the store and just trying to eat more whole foods. I doubt I could do completely sugar free! A bran muffin is cheating? Like Jill said, at least it wasn't a snickers bar!
I can't even go one day without sugar so you did well! I try to limit it, but I can't seem to cut it out completely. Plus, a bran muffin really isn't that bad!
6 lbs is huge. Wow!
And congrats on winning MissZippy's contest! Yay for you!
i must say...that muffin looks delicious! you are still rocking the sugar free challenge though and doing much better than I would ever be able to accomplish! so impressed! and the fact that you are going to stick with it is incredibly inspiring!
6 pounds is huge in 7 days , congrats
I learned that you have ween yourself off or on things, going 100%, for me atleast, I find I will not last too long doing it
No worries:) I think the most important thing about this challenge is that we learn about ourselves....you have learned that when you want a muffin, nothing will stop in your way!! Good luck with the last few days, Samara and I are struggling with you over at www.healthyfitnessedge.blogspot.com

Cheating is okay when it comes to muffins. Muffins are healthy, right?? Don't lose too much weight all at once!
